This work is a transcription, with some additional changes, of the earlier work, Teleport, which was inspired by the abrupt and wide ranging chronological leaps depicted in David Mitchell’s novel, Cloud Atlas. Teleport contains a small excerpt (in various guises) from the chanson, Doulce Memorie, by Pierre Regnault Sandrin, as arranged by Diego Ortiz in Trattado de Glosas (1553).

Teleport II was composed for the premiere Australian saxophone quartet, Continuum Sax.
