ABOUT:
The five movements, Apostasy, Despair, Ambivalence, Faith and Salvation, each contains what is essentially the same motif subjected to variations of rhythm, scale material and mood.

Light Wells was premiered on the 26th of March 2004 at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. It was performed by Shefali Pryor (oboe), Eileen Mack (clarinet), Alison Evans (bassoon), Carla Blackwood (horn), Josephine Allan (piano) and conducted by Paul Smith.
