ABOUT:
This work is a collaboration between Calogero Panvino and the Australian author, Ailsa Wild. With this composition they hope to draw attention to the tiniest life forms, the microbes, without which, there would be no other life on Earth.
from the microbes was premiered at the Ian Potter Southbank Centre on 22nd October 2022 by the soprano, Margaret Francis, and the Melbourne Conservatorium Saxophone Ensemble led by Joseph Lallo.
